Snapchat is a messaging app with special features you can pay for. One cool feature is called “Friend Solar System”. It shows your closest friends like planets around the sun (you).
Your best friend is Mercury, the closest planet. The next best is Venus, and so on to Neptune, your eighth closest friend. It’s a fun way to see your top friends.
You can only see this feature on your phone, not on a computer.
Snapchat Friend Planets
Snapchat shows your closest friends as planets. Let’s see what each planet means.
- Mercury: Your very best friend. Lots of red hearts show this.
- Venus: Your second best friend. Pink, yellow, and blue hearts are here.
- Earth: Your third best friend. It has a moon.
- Mars: Your fourth best friend. It’s red with stars and hearts.
- Jupiter: Your fifth best friend. It’s orange.
- Saturn: Your sixth best friend. It has a gold ring.
- Uranus: Your seventh best friend. Fewer stars and hearts than the closer planets. It’s green.
- Neptune: Your eighth best friend. This is the farthest planet.
Your Friend Planets are Secret
Only you can see your friend planets. Your friends can’t see yours.
Can you see your friend’s planets?
You can’t see all of your friend’s planets. But you can see if you are one of their planets.
- Go to your friend’s page on Snapchat.
- Look for “Best Friends” or “Friends”.
- This shows where you are on their planet list.
For example, if you are “Mars”, you are their fourth best friend.
- Best Friends: You are on each other’s planet list.
- Friends: You are on their planet list, but they are not on yours.
Snapchat Plus Friend Planets
Seeing your friends as planets is a cool way to see who you talk to most on Snapchat. But you need Snapchat Plus to do this.
You can use Snapchat on your computer, but you can’t see the friend planets there. You need your phone for that.
