The general concept of the professional system in the World of Warcraft has received several active stages throughout the existence of the project.
Gathering and crafting classes were both relevant and lost their value due to the overly complex and sometimes pointless activity, which has analogs in the ways of obtaining a similar item without the need to spend time on resources and general production.
In the Dragonflight update, the developers decided to significantly rework the general system of professions and make it not only simpler and clearer but also more relevant due to the system of specializations. Simply put, by choosing your branch, you can provide players on the server with unique items that will benefit you and game gold.
Jewelcrafting, in turn, will allow you to create jewelry to protect against magic, special orbs for attacking magic characters, traps for elementals, and other useful items. You need to be prepared for the fact that the jeweler is the most expensive in terms of profit, but it is also difficult and expensive in terms of raw materials for creating these very attributes of jewelry.
You can spend a lot of time on the grind yourself and take out gems and other resources, or buy WoW gold and buy all the basic materials for starting the profession to the first orders and creating really worthwhile items.
Change and simplification of the general profession interface
Since the Dragonflight update, a new and redesigned system and interface have been introduced, making it easier to work with professionals and providing a great level of convenience and tips for newcomers to the profession.
You will see:
- List of potential recipes
- Common materials, their value, and impact on the final quality of the product.
- Now you will see all the potential places and ways of obtaining materials that appear in the recipe.
- For each item created for the first time, you will receive knowledge points that are needed to master the first specialization. The rest can be learned later through quests and long-term patience, as each quest has a cooldown of exactly 7 days.
Characteristics for the master jeweler and other craftsmen
Now, starting from the Dragonflight update, the general concept of characteristics and their influence on the character also applies to artisans, where the special parameters are different, but they have a direct impact on the quality of the final items, the consumption of resources and the receipt of more products.
Consider the main characteristics that are important directly for the jeweler:
- Skill is the key parameter that must be developed first of all in all possible ways. It affects the overall chance of creating a masterpiece when working with resources and crafting items.
- Overproduction is a characteristic that allows you to get a chance to produce more items and resources than originally planned, taking into account the recipe.
- Resourcefulness is a slightly opposite effect, which allows you to get a chance to craft an item and spend much less resources on it than was originally planned based on the recipe.
- Inspiration is an important parameter that allows you to increase the characteristics of mastery once and significantly increase the likelihood of creating a masterpiece.
- Speed – allows you to increase the rate of development of the profession and the creation of all types of resources and items.
If in the process of working with the craft any of the bonuses work for you, then you will see the corresponding notification, which will also be displayed as a result of crafting.
Speed isn’t a top priority since overall pace won’t play much of a role in the early stages of leveling, but it shouldn’t be underestimated due to the potential need to work with a lot of items.
Specializations you can choose for a master jeweler
Each specialization is a separate branch in your profession, in which you can become better, due to which your goods will have additional bonuses for other players and for you personally if you decide to leave it for personal use.
Remember that you will get the first specialization relatively easily due to the primary crafting of most items, but the rest will take a long time to level up, so choose really valuable and useful areas.
- Flask master.
- Rings, amulets, and tools for craftsmen.
- Create gems with characteristics to be inserted into equipment items.
- Making statues and idols.
Jewelry gear to help you
Starting with the Dragonflight update, crafting professions and gathering resources have also received basic equipment.
In total, there are three slots of such items that you can buy, or order production at the order table in the capital of the Dragon Isle.
You should not worry about the need to put on key items, since the system itself will determine all the equipment that can improve the final result and put it on the character during the work and take it off when it is completed.
None of the representatives of the artisans can craft all three slots on their own – this is done to create a denser level of interaction between craftsmen of all types.
Items of normal quality can simply be bought, but more valuable ones that become individual after activation can only be ordered through the corresponding table, which was added in the Dragonflight update.
Magnifying glass – created by the jeweler himself and has two types of quality. Increases overproduction and inspiration rates, and also gives additional crafting points.
Apron – gives an increase in resourcefulness and inspiration. Created by a leather craftsman.
Carver’s clamp – gives an increase in random parameters, but it’s better to catch inspiration, or at least overproduction. Created by an engineer.
Craft Orders
Starting with the Dragonflight update, all players can complete or submit orders for the creation of various equipment.
You must choose an item, provide a recipe and materials, and set the level of the creator and the amount you pay for the work done.
This approach solved a long-standing problem in WoW that made all valuable items individual, and therefore artisans could not make expensive equipment for sale.
But now, with the order table, you can bypass this limitation and get your own item, which, after falling into your hands, will become nominal.
For the jeweler, the order table is the ability to level up skills by completing small errands, and the additional option to order missing pieces of equipment from other craftsmen and in turn create what other crafters need.
The process of ordering and its execution is controlled by the World of Warcraft system, so fraud is excluded – it is only important to meet the specified term for creation, otherwise the transaction will be canceled.
Be careful with the system of private orders – this is a nominal order for the creation of items in which the customer does not have to put resources.
