Grookey

Chimp Pokemon

Grookey has abilities like Overgrow, or the Hidden Ability Grassy Surge. It belongs to the Grass type of Pokémon. Its green fur generates energy from sunlight, and this is similar to how plants use their leaves for photosynthesis.

Chimchar

Chimp Pokemon

Ash captures a Chimchar during his journey and eventually evolves it into its more powerful form. This Pokémon, resembling a chimpanzee with fiery fur, harnesses the Fire type with prowess.

Known for its abilities Iron Fist and Blaze, it excels in unleashing fiery punches and augmenting its fire-based moves in battle.

Darmanitan

Blazing Pokemon

Darmanitan, a Fire-type Pokémon, possesses several unique abilities: Gorilla Tactics (Galarian Standard Mode), Sheer Force (Standard Mode), or Zen Mode (Hidden Ability).

During battle, its form changes based on its Ability and current HP. Upon entering Zen Mode, Darmanitan transforms into a Fire/Psychic-type Pokémon.

Pansage

Grass Monkey Pokemon

Cilan’s Pansage boasts a distinctive appearance with a head resembling a young broccoli shoot. It possesses the abilities Overgrow, which enhances its Grass-type moves when its health is low, and Gluttony, allowing it to consume berries more quickly in battle. 

Simisage

Evolves From Pansage

In a competitive tournament, Ash faces off against a formidable Simisage, pitting his Scraggy against it, but unfortunately falls short despite his Pokémon’s valiant effort.

Simisage demonstrates abilities akin to those seen in its pre-evolution, Pansage, showcasing agility and strategic prowess that challenge Ash’s battling skills. 

The match highlights the intense rivalry and the unpredictable nature of Pokémon battles, leaving Ash with valuable lessons to learn for future encounters.

Monferno

Evolves From Chimchar

Ash commands his Chimchar to evolve into Monferno, unlocking new fiery prowess. Monferno retains the nimble agility and innate fiery abilities of its previous form, Chimchar, while gaining enhanced strength and speed as a Fire and Fighting-type Pokémon.

Simipour

Simipour, a Pokémon of the Water type, made its debut in the episode “Search for the Clubultimate!” under the care of Betty.

Known for its abilities Torrent and Gluttony, Simipour excels in aquatic environments, using its adept swimming skills and water-based attacks to gain an advantage in battles.

Infernape

Evolves From Monferno

Monferno evolves into Infernape after playing a crucial role in rescuing Ash’s Pokémon from Team Rocket. Throughout its evolution from Chimchar, Monferno maintains its abilities, demonstrating agility and powerful fire-based attacks as it matures into Infernape.

Slaking

Lazy Pokemon

In a fierce battle, Ash emerged victorious over Slaking using his Grovyle. Slaking, resembling a colossal ape, possesses an innate ability that induces lethargy, causing it to skip turns in battle due to its laziness.

Oranguru

Sage Pokemon

Oranguru is a dual Psychic and Normal type Pokémon celebrated for its unique abilities such as Telepathy, Inner Focus, and Symbiosis.

Renowned for its intelligence and serene demeanor, Oranguru stands out as the sole Pokémon with the ability to comprehend and utilize the move Instruct, making it a valuable ally in battle strategies requiring precise coordination and timing.

Primeape

Evolves From Mankey

After evolving from Ash’s Mankey, Primeape joins Ash’s team with its fierce determination and powerful fighting abilities intact.

Known for its explosive temper, Primeape maintains its relentless fighting spirit, eager to take on any challenge. Ash quickly adapts to Primeape’s strength and fiery personality, forming a formidable bond as they continue their journey together.

Panpour

Spray Pokemon

Panpour is a Water-type Pokémon. Goh captured it in Thrash of the Titans! while visiting Opelucid City with Ash. Its abilities include Gluttony and the Hidden Ability Torrent.

Simisear

Evolves From Pansear

Simisear is a Fire-type Pokémon. Getty used a Simisear in a match against Betty’s Simipour during the Clubsplosion tournament in “Search for the Clubultimate!”. Its abilities include Gluttony, Hidden Ability Blaze, or soon defeated

Thwackey

Evolves From Grookey

Thwackey can perform a ritual by grooming their friends to cheer them up to show friendship and trust, its abilities include Overgrow or Grassy Surge Hidden Ability. Thwackey is a Grass-type Pokémon.

Aipom

Simian Pokemon

Aipom is a monkey-like Pokémon with a tail that resembles a hand with three fingers. It snatches Ash’s hat and begins to tag along with his team. Ash eventually catches it.

Zarude

Rogue Monkey Pokemon

Zarude is a unique Pokémon of the Dark Grass type, known for its exclusive move, Jungle Healing, which sets it apart from others.

With its formidable abilities, including Leaf Guard, Zarude demonstrates its prowess in both offense and defense, making it a versatile choice in battles.Monkey Pokémon

Rillaboom

Evolves From Thwackey

Rillaboom boasts the Hidden Ability Grassy Surge, which triggers Grassy Terrain upon entering battle, benefiting its team with HP recovery.

Alternatively, it can have the Overgrow Ability, boosting Grass-type moves when its health is low. This Pokémon also has the ability to Gigantamax, transforming into an imposing form with amplified powers.

Mankey

Pig Monkey Pokemon

Makey is a primate-like Pokémon known for its mischievous nature. In an animated episode, a wild Makey once playfully snatched Ash’s cap, showcasing its playful demeanor.

It possesses the innate abilities of Defiant, which strengthens its resolve when faced with adversity, and Vital Spirit, granting it immunity to sleep-inducing moves.

Passimian

Teamwork Pokemon

Passimian is a black-and-white Pokémon with broad shoulders, resembling a powerfully built lemur. It is a Fighting-type Pokémon with abilities including Receiver or the Hidden Ability Defiant.

Ambipom

Evolves from Aipom

Ash’s Aipom undergoes an exciting evolution into Ambipom, showcasing impressive abilities like Skill Link and Technician.

Ambipom’s Skill Link ensures its multi-strike moves always hit the maximum number of times, while Technician boosts the power of its weaker attacks, making it a versatile and formidable battler in Ash’s team.

Pansear

High Temp Pokemon

Pansear belongs to the Fire-type category among Pokémon. It’s one of three elemental monkeys, along with Pansage, which is Grass-type, and Panpour, which is Water-type. Its abilities include Blaze, the hidden ability, and Gluttony.
